Job summary

L'affare in Wellington is seeking keen and enthusiastic kitchen hands for a part-time role. You will join the busy kitchen team, support with cleaning and general duties, and contribute to a smooth operation while you learn the ropes of our cafe.

Starting from 6.30am, minimum two days from Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts. All applicants must be New Zealand residents or hold a New Zealand working visa. A friendly team and growth opportunities await.

The Opportunity:

We are on the look‑out for keen and enthusiastic kitchen hands to join our team in the kitchen at our Wellington café on a part-time basis! If you are motivated, eager to learn and have excellent attention to detail, please get in touch.

To ensure that our kitchen is running smoothly, you will be responsible for providing efficient, high quality cleaning and support to the team.

About you:

You’ll enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and be comfortable supporting in any aspect of the kitchen. You’ll be a team‑player who enjoys the coffee scene and is looking for an opportunity to learn the ropes of the L'affare kitchen. You’ll have access to all the coffee you can drink, free coffee to take home and plenty of growth and development opportunities.

This is a permanent, part‑time opportunity working a minimum of two days from Monday to Friday, starting from 6.30am. Some weekend work may also be required.
