Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited's PAK'nSAVE Rangiora is seeking an enthusiastic Seafood Manager to lead the Seafood Department, ensuring a fresh, full, and appealing range for customers every day.

You will manage ordering, stock rotation, inventory control, and waste minimisation while maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and customer service. Applicants must have leadership experience in supermarket or fresh foods.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support the Seafood team.
• Ensure the department is well-stocked, merchandised, and presented to a high standard.
• Manage ordering, stock rotation, inventory control, and waste minimisation.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers with product knowledge and enquiries.
• Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
