Job summary

CMC Markets in Auckland is seeking a detail-oriented Scrip & Custodial Operations Executive to join the Post Trade Operations team. You will support settlements and custody processes across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate trade settlement and safeguarding client holdings.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in trade settlement or custody, knowledge of NZ clearing, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in trade settlement, custody or investment operations within financial services.
• A sound understanding of New Zealand clearing and settlement processes.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with reconciliation or settlement systems will be highly regarded.

• Support the day-to-day delivery of settlements and custody operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Based in our Auckland office, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient settlement of trades, safeguard client assets, and support post-trade operations across Australia and New Zealand. What you'll be working on

Reporting to the Scrip & Custodial Operations Manager, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of settlements and custody operations across Australia and New Zealand. You'll ensure trades are settled accurately, client holdings are reconciled, corporate actions are processed efficiently and operational controls are maintained to the highest standard. Working closely with internal teams, registries, custodians and market participants, you'll help deliver exceptional operational outcomes while contributing to continuous process improvements.
