Patricia Avenue School is seeking a friendly and professional School Administrator / Receptionist to be an integral part of our school team. This varied role supports students, staff, whānau, and visitors while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Reception duties, including answering phones, responding to enquiries, and welcoming visitors.
Student administration, including enrolments, attendance, and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting school communications and newsletters.
Providing administrative support to leadership and staff.
Coordinating purchasing, suppliers, contractors, and vehicle administration.
Supporting Health & Safety requirements and general office administration.
Strong administration and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and initiative.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ideally, experience with HERO and Canva.
The ability to build positive relationships with students, whānau, staff, and visitors.
A professional, friendly, and confidential approach.
