Job summary

Palmerston North Intermediate in Manawatu/Whanganui is seeking two to three enthusiastic teachers for Year 7–8. This fixed-term position runs from 25 January 2027 to 10 December 2027, with opportunities to contribute across English, Health and physical education, Maths, Science, The arts, Te reo Māori and more.

We value strong relationships, culturally responsive practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and you will work collaboratively with a supportive team while contributing to wider school life.

Qualifications

• NZ teacher registration required or eligible
• Police vetting required
• Experience with Year 7-8 students
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to school life
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi

We are looking for 2-3 enthusiastic teachers who want to be part of that journey in 2027.
