Job summary

Tisbury School is seeking a full-time permanent teacher to join our team. The start date is 28 January 2027. We are a semi-rural school on the outskirts of Invercargill, a gateway to Stewart Island, Fiordland and Central Otago.

Our focus is delivering engaging learning across the primary/intermediate curriculum (Years 1–8) and embracing BSLA for literacy and Numicon for maths. PB4L supports a positive team environment.

Tisbury School is looking for a full-time permanent teacher.Start date is 28 January 2027.

Tisbury School is a semi-rural school on the outskirts of Invercargill. It is 10 minutes to the city centre and is a gateway to Stewart Island, Fiordland and Central Otago.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and creative teacher to join our team.

We are implementing BSLA for structured literacy and Numicon for maths. Our school is a PB4L school, so we are looking for a positive team player to join us and help to bring learning to life in our semi-rural setting. We want you to bring your own skills and strengths to the position. Additional school responsibilities are up for negotiation.
