Job summary

Pine Hill School (Dunedin) is seeking two enthusiastic kaiako to join our Dunedin team. You will foster a warm, inclusive classroom where learners are supported with a responsive and engaging learning environment.

The successful applicants will bring a learner-centered approach, high expectations for tamariki success, and a collaborative spirit to work with our community. Experience with iDeaL Structured Literacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience building strong relationships with the school community.
• Ability to provide engaging, responsive learning environments.
• Experience with iDeaL Structured Literacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire students with a learner-centered approach.
• Collaborate with staff to support all tamariki.

We are looking for two enthusiastic, passionate kaiako who have a growth mindset, are collegial, collaborative and hardworking. Building strong relationships with everyone in our community is key, along with providing a positive, responsive and engaging learning environment for our tamariki.

The successful applicants will be inspiring, future-thinking kaiako, with a learner-centered approach. They will have high expectations for the success of all tamariki and be able to create a warm and inclusive environment in their classroom.

Experience in the following is preferred:

• iDeaL Structured Literacy

The year level/s the successful applicants will teach will be based on their strengths.
