Job summary

Te Kura Rau Iti is a brand-new English medium primary school that opened in February 2026. With our roll continuing to grow, we are seeking two experienced, enthusiastic and highly capable Scale A teachers to join our team from the beginning of Term 1, 2027.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning, bring energy and enthusiasm to their practice, and are committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all ākonga.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom practitioner with knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum.
• Knowledge of current approaches to effective teaching and learning.
• Two experienced Scale A teachers sought.

Responsibilities

• Teach Primary and Intermediate (Years 1–8) as Scale A teachers.
• Contribute to building a positive, collaborative school culture from the ground up.
• Potential leadership opportunities may be available for the right candidates.
