Future Focus - West Dune is seeking an experienced Under 3 kaiako to join our calm, relationship-based learning environment for pēpi and toddlers.

You must be qualified and registered (or provisionally registered) and bring strong Under 3 experience, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to ako and continuous improvement in teaching practice.

We are seeking an experienced Under 3 kaiako to join our calm, responsive, relationship-based learning environment for pēpi and toddlers.

Our practice is grounded in manaakitanga, rangatiratanga, wairuatanga, kotahitanga, and whanaungatanga. We honour every ākonga as unique, taking time to know each tamaiti deeply and responding in ways that uphold and enhance their mana. We value kaiako for their unique ways of being and encourage authenticity, critical reflection, and growth.

As a team, we actively examine our teaching. We refine and trial new ways of being and doing individually and collectively, ensuring our practice remains intentional and responsive. We take our mahi seriously, but we also know how to have a laugh and we value fun and curiosity as a part of our team culture.

Te reo Māori me ōna tikanga Māori are woven authentically through our daily rhythms. Genuine partnerships with whānau and ongoing professional dialogue are central to our approach and a strong passion for being culturally responsive to each tamaiti.
