Job summary

Rollex Medical in Clevedon is seeking a motivated Sawmill General Hand and Machine Operator to support the day-to-day operation at our site.

No prior timber experience is required as full training will be provided. A mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset are valued.

You will cut and stack timber, operate machinery including Mahoe Saw, loading dispatch timber, and help ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• No experience required; hands-on backgrounds welcome.
• Full training will be provided.
• Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.

Sawmill General Hand and Machine Operator

We are currently looking for an energetic person to assist in the day-to-day operation and organise key aspects of activities at our Sawmill in Clevedon.

Key duties will include:

Cutting and Stacking timber

Operation of Machinery

Operation of a Mahoe Saw and Moulders / CNC machine / Planers

Loading of Timber for Dispatch

Completing quality checks and documentation

Meeting / Greeting clients who attend site to show them stock for sale

No experience is required however experience in a hands-on role like a farmworker or labourer would be ideal.
Previous Timber / Sawmill experience not needed.
Full Training will be provided.

Mechanical aptitude

Willing to learn and respond quickly to changes

Machinery operation experience is a plus
