As a Sampling Technician, you'll play a critical role in helping Watercare maintain the quality and safety of Auckland's water and wastewater systems. You'll collect and field test water samples from a range of locations across Auckland, ensuring samples are gathered, handled and delivered accurately to support regulatory compliance, public health, and operational performance.
This is a hands-on role that combines fieldwork, laboratory support, and customer service. No two days are the same as you travel across the region collecting samples from drinking water, wastewater, environmental, and groundwater sites.
You're someone who enjoys being out in the field, takes pride in producing accurate results, and can work independently while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
