Job summary

CLAAS Harvest Centre in Wanaka is seeking a Sales Representative to represent leading agricultural machinery and to drive growth in the Wanaka region with farmers and contractors.

You will build lasting relationships, pursue new opportunities, and close deals while enjoying a competitive base pay with an uncapped commission, plus a fully maintained vehicle, mobile and laptop.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience preferably in Agriculture
• Able to build long-term relationships with farmers/contractors in the region
• Skilled at closing deals and delivering customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Grow, build and maintain strong customer relations
• Identify opportunities for sales and new business in Wanaka region

As a Sales Representative, you will get to represent some of the best machinery brands available in New Zealand.

Success is achieved by growing, building and maintaining strong customer relations. You’ll be confident and motivated to keep in regular contact with existing customers and initiating opportunities for sales and seeking new opportunities.

• You’ll get a fully maintained, late model work vehicle, mobile and laptop.

About you

• Proven sales experience preferably in Agriculture with proven ability to build long term relationships with farmers and contractors in your region.
• You’re the sort of person that others want to talk to, probably because of the passion you have for the industry and what you do.
• You get a kick out of closing a deal, because you know you have delivered on service, knowledge and product, and the customer is genuinely happy with their experience
