Cohesive Construction Otago Ltd. in Dunedin is seeking a Sales Representative to grow our presence in the Otago region by promoting and selling NZ-made, site-specific steel shed solutions.

You’ll drive sales from first enquiry to project completion, build relationships with homeowners, trades, and referral partners, and represent a trusted local brand. The role rewards a hunter mindset, autonomy, and a pipeline-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction-based sales (ideally steel or tilt-panel).
• Background in residential, commercial or rural building projects.
• Strong communication skills; able to talk to homeowners and tradies.
• Proactive and target-driven with self-led sales process management.
• Bonus: project management or construction admin experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and close deals with a hunter mindset.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to project completion.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Attend local field days, shows and community events within budget.
• Keep CRM and sales pipeline up to date.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving sales and closing with a proactive hunter mindset
• Managing the entire sales cycle—from first enquiry to project completion
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referral partners (e.g. Farmlands, architects, PMs)
• Attending local field days, shows and community events (within budget)
• Keeping your sales pipeline and CRM up to date with all activity
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for:

• A natural hunting instinct – we don’t want an order taker.
• Proven experience inconstruction-based sales(ideally steel or tilt-panel)
• Background inresidential, commercial or rural building projects
• Strong communication skills—you’re confident talking to everyone from homeowners to tradies
• A proactive mindset—you’re organised, motivated, and target-driven
• Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own sales process
