Job summary

CLAAS Harvest Centre in Feilding, New Zealand seeks a passionate Sales Representative to promote leading agricultural machinery across the Manawatu region. You will build and maintain strong farmer and contractor relationships, driving growth through new opportunities.

This role offers an uncapped commission, a fully maintained company vehicle, plus mobile and laptop, with a modern, purpose-built facility in the CBD of Feilding.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferably in Agriculture with proven ability to build long term relationships with farmers and contractors in your region.
• You’re the sort of person that others want to talk to and are passionate about the industry.
• You excel at closing deals while delivering high service, knowledge and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain strong customer relations with farmers and contractors.
• Initiate opportunities for sales and seek new business across the region.
• Represent leading agricultural machinery brands and provide excellent service.

We are on the lookout for someone who is passionate and experienced in Sales and Agriculture to become a key part of future growth within the Central Districts regions. As a Sales Representative, you will get to represent some of the best machinery brands available in New Zealand. Success is achieved by growing, building and maintaining strong customer relations. You’ll be confident and motivated to keep in regular contact with existing customers and initiating opportunities for sales and seeking new opportunities.

• There’s great earning potential here with a competitive base and an un-capped commission scheme.
• You’ll get a fully maintained, late model work vehicle, mobile and laptop.
• Our dealership, your base, will be a brand new – purpose-built facility in the CBD of Feilding.

Who are you?

• Sales experience preferably in Agriculture with proven ability to build long term relationships with farmers and contractors in your region.
• You’re the sort of person that others want to talk to, probably because of the passion you have for the industry and what you do.
• You get a kick out of closing a deal, because you know you have delivered on service, knowledge and product, and the customer is genuinely happy with their experience
