Job summary

CLAAS Harvest Centre in Rotorua is seeking a Sales Specialist with a passion for farming and machinery to grow our Bay of Plenty business. You will represent leading agricultural brands, build lasting relationships and close deals with farmers and contractors, supported by a base salary plus uncapped commissions.

You\'ll enjoy a fully maintained, late-model vehicle, a mobile and a laptop, and a collaborative team environment focused on customer success and career growth.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience preferably in Agriculture with ability to build long-term relationships with farmers and contractors in the region.
• Passion for farming, machinery and people with a track record of closing deals.
• Willingness to represent multiple machinery brands and deliver excellent service.

Due to significant growth at Landpower, we are on the lookout for someone who is passionate and experienced in Sales and Agriculture to become a key part of future growth within the Bay of Plenty region.

As a Sales Specialist, you will get to represent some of the best machinery brands available in New Zealand.

Success is achieved by growing, building and maintaining strong customer relations. You'll be confident and motivated to keep in regular contact with existing customers and initiating opportunities for sales and seeking new opportunities.

About you

• Proven sales experience preferably in Agriculture with proven ability to build long term relationships with farmers and contractors in your region.
• You're the sort of person that others want to talk to, probably because of the passion you have for the industry and what you do.
• You get a kick out of closing a deal, because you know you have delivered on service, knowledge and product, and the customer is genuinely happy with their experience
