Job summary

Armstrong's is opening a brand-new dealership in Petone, Wellington, representing several brands. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead day one and to build a high-performing team for both new and used vehicles.

You will own the day-to-day sales operation, coach your consultants, drive targets, manage customer relationships and ensure an exceptional experience, while collaborating with the wider Armstrong's network to maximise opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive sales experience, ideally in a Sales Manager or senior sales role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to get the best out of your team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate your sales team to achieve targets.
• Drive new and used vehicle sales performance.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage sales opportunities, enquiries and follow-up.
• Oversee stock presentation, merchandising and daily sales operation.
