Job summary

Armatec Environmental, a NZ-based provider of air pollution control systems, seeks a Sales & Design Engineer to join our practical, client-focused engineering team. You will engage with clients from initial enquiry through design, fabrication, commissioning and hand-over, delivering value and innovative solutions.

The role offers flexibility to be based in Auckland or New Plymouth with work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience working in an Engineering field with understanding of Process Engineering principles.
• Previous experience in technical/engineering sales, or a similar customer-focused role is preferred.
• Be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Hold a valid NZ Driver’s License and be comfortable with hands-on project work.

Responsibilities

• Providing rapid initial response to customers’ incoming sales enquiries.
• Following initial response, ensuring new enquiries are appropriately assigned to other team members.
• Assisting in maintaining up-to-date and accurate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data.
• Maintaining positive, proactive, and regular communication with customers.
