Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Airport Store seeks a Sales Coordinator to support store management, drive customer experiences, and train the sales team. You will help achieve sales targets, maintain merchandising standards, and assist with inventory and loss prevention while delivering practical coaching and hands-on supervision.

You thrive in a casual, fast-paced electronics environment, enjoy helping customers, and can work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of computers, mobile phones and electronics.
• Experience with EFTPOS and cash handling.
• Able to work independently and as part of a sales team.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Job Description

As a Sales Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to assist the Airport Store Management team as a key management support role, ensuring that you create, support, and uphold a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store, including:

• Achieving sales and profitability targets for your store through providing ongoing training, coaching, support and feedback to the store’s team
• Leading and maintaining the agreed merchandising standard
• Contribute to financial performance through inventory management, loss prevention and management of controllable expenses

Qualifications

• You must enjoy working in a casual and fun atmosphere, having proven retail experience and a broad knowledge of computers, mobile phones and other electronics
• Proven customer service experience and background in cash handling, including the use of EFTPOS facilities (preferably electronic POS systems), and the ability to sell retail products and merchandise
• Be able to work both independently and as part of our consolidated sales team, and have the ability to work under pressure
