Job summary

PepsiCo's Bluebird Foods in New Zealand is seeking a reliable Process Operator for the Weekend Night Shift at Wiri. You will operate automated cooking and packaging machinery, input data into systems, and perform quality checks.

Training is provided during the week prior to moving to the weekend shift, with shifts on Friday night and Saturday/Sunday nights. Full-time permanent role with health and safety priorities, on-site work, and opportunities for career progression within PepsiCo’s

Qualifications

• Experience in Processing/ Food Manufacturing/ Industrial Kitchen environments.
• Understanding of HACCP and GMP with reliable safety practices.
• High mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work as part of a Food Production team and contribute to Food Safety targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Run heavily robotic packaging machinery for chips into packets and boxes.
• Record, report and input accurate data into computerised systems.
• Conduct flavour testing and ensure correct flavour for product runs.
• Perform quality checks and manage materials and waste.
