Job summary

Bluebird Foods Ltd in New Zealand's Wiri region near Auckland is seeking a reliable Process Operator to run our heavily automated production lines on a 2:00pm–11:00pm, Monday to Friday roster. This permanent full-time role offers a safety-focused environment within PepsiCo.

You will operate industrial cooking and robotic packaging machinery, record data, perform quality checks, and contribute to food safety targets as part of a high-performing team. Training and career growth are supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum NCEA Level 1-3 or Equivalent.
• Previous experience with processing machine operation and understanding of HACCP/GMP advantageous.
• A high mechanical aptitude withstrong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
• Work as part of an efficient Food Production Team.
• Actively contribute to Food Safety targets within the team.
• Keen to develop a successful career in Food Manufacturing at Bluebird.

Responsibilities

• Operating industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Operating the heavily robotic machinery that packages our chips into packets, and also into boxes.
• Record, report and input accurate data into computerised systems.
• Ensureflavour testing is completedeffectively, and accurate flavour is supplied in accordance with product runs.
• Complete quality checks as required, with management of materials and waste.
