Job summary

Bluebird Foods Ltd in Wiri is seeking a Process Operator to operate automated production lines and packaging systems. The role is permanent full-time with Monday–Friday rosters, 2.00pm–11.00pm shifts, located in Wiri, NZ.

You will operate automated cooking and packaging equipment, input data, perform flavour testing, and complete quality checks while maintaining Food Safety and HACCP standards. This is a career-focused role in a global FMCG context.

Qualifications

• NCEA Level 1-3 or Equivalent
• Experience with processing machine operation; HACCP/GMP advantageous
• High mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability
• Team player in a Food Production environment
• Contribute to Food Safety targets
• Keen to develop a career in Food Manufacturing at Bluebird

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Run heavily robotic packaging machinery for chips and boxed products.
• Record, report and input data into computerised systems.
• Ensure flavour testing is completed accurately and aligned with product runs.
• Perform quality checks and manage materials and waste as required.
