Job summary

Allpress Dunedin is seeking a Roastery Assistant to join our team. You will support coffee production from roasting to packing and help with local deliveries. This permanent, part-time role runs Monday to Wednesday, 24 hours weekly, with training provided for roasting and handling stock.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has hospitality or packing experience, and can lift heavy sacks while maintaining safety and teamwork. A full, clean driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or picking and packing is essential.
• Full, clean driver’s license is required.
• Hardworking and a great team player.
• Comfortable with a physically demanding role and lifting heavy sacks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the complete coffee production process, including roasting (full training provided).
• Package orders and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Hand-deliver coffee to customers and support the sales team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the roastery area.
