Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a motivated Surfacing Engineer to join our Roadmarking Team in the Nelson region. You will support the Department Manager and help deliver the forward works programme, with a focus on safety, quality and service.

The role includes field site support, planning and pricing activities, and office-based tasks. A relevant tertiary qualification is ideal, but training is provided for the right candidate, and a Class 1 licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in surfacing operations or roadmarking is preferred but training is provided for the right candidate.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Programme planning and job management.
• Pricing, tendering and securing work.
• Field work / crew assistance.
• Ensuring compliance with instructions, client specs and standards.
• Office-based support for the Roadmarking Department Manager.
