Higgins in Hamilton is seeking Road Maintenance Labourers to join the Green Team for a new contract with Waikato District Council, starting in July 2025. This role offers competitive hourly rates, guaranteed work hours, and long-term job security until at least 2030.

Higgins Hamilton have secured an exciting new contract – the Waikato District Council northern road maintenance and renewals contract. Due to this, our team is growing, and we are seeking Road Maintenance Labourers to join the Green Team now, ready for project kick off in July 2025.
The contract covers a network of approximately1200km of sealed & unsealed roads in North Waikato from Huntly to P?keno. You will be involved in the general maintenance, repair works, annual programmed works, pre-seal repairs and additional works on this comprehensive roading network.
