Job summary

Higgins in Hamilton is seeking Road Maintenance Labourers to join the Green Team for a new contract with Waikato District Council, starting in July 2025. This role offers competitive hourly rates, guaranteed work hours, and long-term job security until at least 2030.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 & 2 Driver’s license required.
• WTR endorsement is a bonus.
• Previous experience in road maintenance is preferred.
• Must be available for on-call work with quick response times.
• Experience with incident response is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Involved in general maintenance and repair works on roads.
• Conduct annual programmed works and pre-seal repairs.
• Respond quickly to job site calls when needed.
