Job summary

Stellar Recruitment in Auckland seeks a maintenance crew member for outdoor work across multiple Auckland locations. The role involves general road maintenance, mower operation, weed control spraying, pruning and hedging, and weed eating, with daily start and finish at Mt Wellington yard.

Typical day is Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, with consistent hours and a focus on safety and reliability in outdoor environments. Valid NZ work rights required; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Valid NZ work rights.
• Experience with outdoor maintenance and weed control preferred.
• Ability to travel across Auckland locations.

Responsibilities

• General road maintenance including guard rail repairs and pothole repairs.
• Operate mowers and perform weed control spraying.
• Soft landscaping duties: pruning and hedging, weed eating.

About the Role

If you enjoy variety and working outdoors, this could be a great fit. As part of a maintenance crew, you’ll be involved in a mix of tasks including:

• General road maintenance: guard rail repairs, pothole repairs
• Using mowers
• Soft landscaping: pruning, hedging
• Spraying for weed control
• Weed eating

This role involves travelling across different Auckland locations. You’ll start and finish each day at the Mt Wellington, Auckland yard.

Monday to Friday day shift

6:30am-3:00pm (hours tbc but this is the standard day shift)

Skills & Experience

• Class 1 Restricted License & above (required)
• Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, or weed eating (advantageous)
• Good physical fitness and comfort working outdoors
