Job summary

Stellar Recruitment in Auckland is seeking a maintenance crew member to support a Mt Wellington-based operation. You’ll travel across Auckland performing road maintenance, litter collection, weed control, and soft landscaping tasks, starting and finishing each day at the Mt Wellington yard.

This role involves outdoor work with night shifts, and offers hourly pay plus holiday pay and weekly pay, with additional night-shift allowances where applicable.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Restricted license required.
• Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, or weed eating desirable.
• Good physical fitness and comfort working outdoors.

• General road maintenance: guard rail repairs, pothole repairs.

• Soft landscaping: pruning, hedging.

Job description

Benefits:

• $25 - $27 p/h +8% holiday pay + weekly pay
• nightshift allowance ($40 per night) - $200 extra per work week.
• Consistent hours
• Mt Wellington based

About the Role

If you enjoy variety and working outdoors, this could be a great fit. As part of a maintenance crew, you’ll be involved in a mix of tasks including:

• General road maintenance: guard rail repairs, pothole repairs
• Litter collection
• Soft landscaping: pruning, hedging
• Spraying for weed control
• Weed eating

This role involves travelling across different Auckland locations. You’ll start and finish each day at the Mt Wellington, West Auckland yard.

Night shift:

7:30pm-4:30pm (hours tbc but this is the standard night shift)

Skills & Experience

• Class 1 Restricted license & above (required)
• Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, or weed eating (advantageous)
• Good physical fitness and comfort working outdoors
