Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Auckland, North Island is seeking a full-time maintenance crew member. Based at Mt Wellington, you’ll join a team performing road maintenance, mowing, pruning, weed control, and soft landscaping across Auckland locations.

Hours are 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with consistent day shifts; you start and finish at the Mt Wellington yard. Class 1 Licence, good fitness, and outdoor work comfort are required.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence is required (Restricted and above).
• Good fitness and comfort working outdoors.
• Experience with weed control, litter collection or traffic control is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• General road maintenance including guard rail and pothole repairs.
• Mowing, pruning and hedging as part of soft landscaping.
• Weed spraying and weed eating across Auckland locations.

About the Role

If you enjoy variety and working outdoors, this could be a great fit. As part of a maintenance crew, you’ll be involved in a mix of tasks including:

• General road maintenance: guard rail repairs, pothole repairs
• Using mowers
• Soft landscaping: pruning, hedging
• Spraying for weed control
• Weed eating

This role involves travelling across different Auckland locations. You’ll start and finish each day at the Mt Wellington, Auckland yard.

Monday to Friday day shift: 6:30am–3:00pm (hours tbc but this is the standard day shift)

Skills & Experience

• Class 1 Restricted License & above (required)
• Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, or weed eating (advantageous)
• Good physical fitness and comfort working outdoors
