Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand in Christchurch is seeking energetic individuals for our Retread Factory. This hands-on role is performed in a structured factory environment where you will follow clear processes and work as part of a close-knit team.

You will bring a current NZ driver's licence, a forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one), and a solid understanding of workplace health and safety. The successful applicant will undergo a pre-employment medical and start with full PPE from day one.

Qualifications

• The physical fitness and work ethic to keep up with an active factory role where there will be regular heavy lifting.
• A full, clean NZ Driver's Licence.
• A current forklift licence — or a genuine willingness to get one (we can support you with this).
• A solid understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.
• The legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on, active tasks in a structured factory environment following defined processes.
• Work as part of a close-knit team to meet production targets.
• Adhere to health and safety policies to ensure a safe worksite.

If you're someone who shows up, works hard and takes pride in doing things properly — we don't need you to have any experience in tyres or manufacturing. We'll teach you everything you need to know.

The Role

This is hands-on, active work in a structured factory environment in our Christchurch Retread Factory. You'll be working through clear processes and procedures as part of a close-knit team. This role is best suited to someone who takes direction well, doesn't mind hard physical work and wants to build a skill set with one of the world's most recognised automotive brands behind them.
