Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand – Hamilton, North Island is seeking an experienced Fleet Service Technician to keep customers' fleet vehicles rolling safely and on time. You00ll fit tyres, perform maintenance, and interact with customers on-site and in-store.

Your day-to-day will include tyre fitting, maintenance and repairs, keeping job cards and records up to date, delivering great customer service both in person and over the phone, and occasional on-call weekend work as rostered.

Qualifications

• Must have a full, clean New Zealand driver2s licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Great with people - customers and teammates alike.
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing things right.
• Eligible to live and work in New Zealand.

Ready to get your hands dirty, build real skills, and work for a brand people actually trust? We are on the hunt for an experienced OTR Technician to join us.

The Role

You'll be joining our commercial store in Hamilton as an experienced Fleet Service Technician, keeping our customers' fleet vehicles rolling safely and on time. No two days look exactly the same - you could be out on site fitting tyres on a truck, back in the store working on a van, or managing jobs and talking with customers directly.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Tyre fitting, maintenance and repairs - in-store and on-site at customer locations
• Keeping job cards and records accurate and up to date
• Delivering great customer service, face-to-face and over the phone
• Once you're up to speed, occasional on-call weekend work (rostered, not random)

Who We're Looking For

We are ideally looking for an experienced Fleet or Tyre Technician, with specific OTR experience, though will consider others from an automotive or tyre background.

The must-haves:

• A full, clean New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Great with people - customers and teammates alike
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing things right
• Eligible to live and work in New Zealand

Nice to have (but not essential):

• Experience in tyres, automotive, transport, or a similar trade
• Comfort working independently and managing your own workload
