Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand – Mount Maunganui is seeking a hands-on Fleet Service Technician to keep customer fleet vehicles on the road. You may fit tyres on-site, service vans in-store, and manage jobs while talking with customers directly.

Day-to-day includes tyre fitting, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent service. On-call weekend work may be required once trained.

Qualifications

• Full, clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Great with people - customers and teammates alike.
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing things right.
• Eligible to live and work in New Zealand.
• Some experience in tyres, automotive, transport, or a similar trade (nice to have).
• Comfort working independently and managing your own workload (nice to have).

The Role

You'll be joining our commercial store in Mount Maunganui as a Fleet Service Technician, keeping our customers' fleet vehicles rolling safely and on time. No two days look exactly the same - you could be out on-site fitting tyres on a truck, back in the store working on a van, or managing jobs and talking with customers directly. It's hands-on, it's varied, and it matters.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Tyre fitting, maintenance and repairs - in-store and on-site at customer locations
• Keeping job cards and records accurate and up to date
• Delivering great customer service, face-to-face and over the phone
• Once you're up to speed, occasional on-call weekend work

Who We're Looking For

You might be an experienced tyre fitter ready for your next move, or someone completely new to the industry who's keen to learn and work hard. Either way, here's what matters to us:

The must-haves:

• A full, clean New Zealand Driver's Licence
