Job summary

Repco in Wanaka is recruiting a Retail Coordinator to join our brand-new store. You will contribute to product placement, promotions, and store presentation while supporting customers on the shop floor as part of a friendly team.

You’ll drive merchandising efforts, maintain standards, and help keep stock levels well managed. A creative, customer-focused mindset and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is essential for this role.
• Exposure to merchandising is desirable.
• Creative flair for store presentation is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

The Role

As a Retail Coordinator you will hold a unique and varied position. Using your creative ability, you will help decide on product placement & promotions, merchandising & store presentation, while also being an integral part of the customer service team and assisting customers on the shop floor. As a fun and energetic team member your role includes product placement, merchandising, ensuring the store is kept well stocked and tidy alongside providing fantastic customer service.

Specific Duties Include

• Leading by example by providing friendly and accurate advice to our customers
• Maintaining branch standards, in particular merchandising standards, planogram changes and in-store promotions
• Ensuring a high store presentation standards
• Assisting with branch stock levels and ensuring the shop floor is well stocked.

Skills And Experience

Previous retail experience is essential for this role, and ideally within a similar role where you've had exposure to merchandising. Not only will you contribute on the shop floor with your strong customer services skills and helping out our customers, but also demonstrate a creative flare for store presentation.
