Job summary

Status Anxiety in Auckland is seeking a reliable casual Retail Assistant to join our small, friendly team. You will cover lunch breaks and leave shifts, helping customers and handling cash with confidence.

The ideal candidate has previous retail or customer-facing experience, is self-motivated, and able to open/close the store alone. You must be available at least 1 weekday and 1 weekend day, including public holidays around Christmas and New Year. This is a casual contract with flexible hours.

We are looking for a new team member to join our small, friendly team of 5.

The ideal candidate will have a lot of availability, especially over Christmas/New Years.
Ideally suited for someone who studies part-time in the area or is freshly graduated and wanting some work experience in the fashion/retail industry.
Not suited for high school students as weekday cover can be a key part of the role.

Self-motivation and previous retail experience are key, as you will often work alone and need an understanding of cash handling and confidence to open and close the store yourself.

There are no minimum hours as this is a casual contract, so your main shifts will be lunch covers and leave cover.

Requirements:

• - MUST be available at least 1 weekday & 1 weekend day
• - Previous work experience in retail or similar customer facing role
• - Availability to work public holidays around Christmas & New Years (Not including Christmas Day or New Years Day)
