Job summary

North Beach is seeking a Stock Controller for our Queenstown Five Mile store. The role focuses on accurate stock control, processing stock movements, and delivering excellent customer service at a busy retail location.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of stock control experience, strong numerical skills, and comfort with cash handling and audits. Applicants should be NZ residents or hold a valid NZ work visa. Monday to Friday, 8:30AM–5:00PM.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in stock control
• Comfortable with numbers and cash handling/auditing
• Able to work under pressure with strong communication skills
• Experience with stock management software preferred
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and stock movement for the Queenstown Five Mile store
• Process stock orders and receipts accurately
• Conduct regular stock takes and audits
• Assist with cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations
• Provide excellent customer service and support to the team

Northbeach are looking for someone who is passionate, with a great attitude who is ready to tackle a new challenge as Stock Controller at our Queenstown Five Mile store.

This is a busy role that would suit a mature individual who can work under pressure while paying attention to detail. You will also have the ability to provide excellent Customer Service and be a natural problem solver with great people and communication skills.

Confidence with computers preferably with stock management software is essential, combined with strong administration skills.

This role does involve cash handling and auditing, so you need to be comfortable doing a bit of number crunching too! 2 years' experience in stock control and processing is a must.

Flexibility, prioritising your day and the ability to multi-task are a must.

Hours of work are 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week.

Applicants for this position should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa.
