Job summary

JobSpace in Christchurch is seeking reliable casual staff to join our pool for hands-on roles within the fresh produce industry. Work ranges from car grooming and general labouring to pick packing and fresh product handling.

We are looking for reliable, punctual candidates with a good attitude and strong work ethic who can work independently or as part of a team. Weekdays and/or weekends flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual and willing to work.
• Able to work in a hands-on, physical environment.
• Flexible for weekdays and/or weekends.
• Hold a minimum Restricted Driver Licence.
• Have reliable transport to and from work.

Work can vary from car grooming and general labouring through to pick packing and fresh product handling.

The work may include:

• Car grooming and vehicle cleaning
• General labouring and manual work
• Pick packing fresh produce
• Fresh product handling and processing
• General site duties and cleaning
• Other practical tasks as required

We are looking for people who:

• Are reliable, punctual and willing to work
• Have a good attitude and strong work ethic
• Are comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Are flexible and available for weekdays and/or weekends
• Can work early morning or late shifts
• Hold a minimum Restricted Driver License
• Have reliable transport to and from work
