Job summary

Wallace Cotton in Dunedin is looking for a casual Retail Assistant to join our stunning store. You will deliver exceptional customer service and support the wider team with daily store operations.

Availability year-round is required, including November and December and January 2027, as these are our busiest months. A positive attitude, customer focus, and interest in homeware are valued; staff discounts and monthly bonuses are on offer.

Qualifications

• You will be customer focused, with a natural ability to quickly create a fabulous rapport with customers.
• An interest in the homeware industry is definitely a plus!
• Availability all year round including November & December and January 2027.

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Assistant to join us on a casual basis at our stunning Dunedin store In this role, you will be offering exceptional customer service to our much-loved clientele, and supporting the wider team with general store operations. You would need to be available all year round including November & December (including Boxing Day) & January 2027 as these are our busiest months.

About you

You will be customer focused, with a natural ability to quickly create a fabulous rapport with customers. Your professional attitude and ability to build and maintain strong relationships will hold you in good stead to succeed in this role.

An interest in the homeware industry is definitely a plus!
