Job summary

Alexandra Super Liquor in Alexandra, Otago, seeks a dedicated Retail Assistant to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will help ensure compliance with liquor licensing, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

This role involves evening shifts through to store close and weekend work, stock handling and merchandising, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Hold a current LCQ or be able to obtain one.
• Hold a current Duty Manager's Certificate or be able to obtain one.
• Retail experience, preferably in alcohol.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, honest, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
