Job summary

You will be a current practising health professional with NZ practising certificate, and hold or be prepared to train as a NZRC CORE Instructor, with expertise in airway management and simulation.

Qualifications

• Current practising health professional with NZ Practising Certificate
• NZRC CORE Instructor certificate or willing to train
• Clinical expertise in resuscitation, especially airway management
• Experience with simulation desirable
• Ability to contribute to healthcare standards and quality initiatives
• Proven leadership experience to health providers
• Excellent teaching skills
• Vision, innovation and flexibility to accommodate change
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Deliver education sessions for medical staff and other disciplines
• Lead scenario-based resuscitation demonstrations during teaching workshops
• Contribute to resuscitation policy formation and review
• Support healthcare professionals at all levels of practice
• Develop and review appropriate healthcare standards and quality initiatives
