Job summary

Southern Cross Healthcare seeks a Regional Simulation Facilitator to lead resuscitation training and simulation-based learning across our North Island hospital network. You will design, facilitate and continuously improve hands-on education for multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety.

The role is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position based at the National Support Office in Auckland CBD or remote from anywhere in the North Island, with travel as required to support local hospitals.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Nursing, Anaesthetic Technology or Perioperative Practice with valid registration and APC.
• Three+ years of clinical experience plus two+ years in education/leadership.
• NZ Resuscitation Council Course Director status, preferably with adult education training.
• Passion for clinical education and ability to design engaging, interactive learning.
• Strong communication, facilitation and relationship-building with multidisciplinary teams.
• Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities independently.
• Experience in simulation-based education and debriefing.
• Postgraduate qualifications or Speaking Up for Safety training would be highly regarded.
