Job summary

Southern Cross Healthcare in Auckland seeks a Regional Simulation Facilitator to deliver resuscitation training and hands-on simulation learning across our network. You will partner with nurse educators and clinical leaders to tailor learning that builds confidence, clinical skills and patient safety.

You will design realistic scenarios, use blended education approaches, and collaborate across the North Island, with travel to hospitals as needed.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Nursing, Anaesthetic Technology or Perioperative Practice with current APC.
• Minimum of three years' clinical experience and at least two years in education or leadership.
• NZRC Course Director status with adult education qualification preferred.
• Strong communication and facilitation to engage multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel to support hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate resuscitation training and simulation-based learning.
• Collaborate with nurse educators and clinical leaders to identify learning needs.
• Design engaging learning experiences using realistic scenarios and blended education.
• Travel to support local hospitals as needed.
