Southern Cross Healthcare seeks a Regional Simulation Facilitator to deliver hands-on resuscitation training and drive simulation-based learning across our North Island hospitals. You will work with nurse educators, clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to design engaging scenarios and blended education approaches.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term from January 11, 2027 to December 24, 2027, based at the National Support Office in Auckland CBD or remote within the North Island, with some

• Qualification in Nursing, Anaesthetic Technology or Perioperative Practice with registration and APC.
• Minimum of three years' clinical experience plus at least two years in education/leadership.
• NZRC Course Director status, ideally with adult education qualification.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive learning experiences.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with multidisciplinary teams.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities independently and with others.
• Experience in simulation-based education and clinical debriefing.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Health Sciences or Leadership are highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver resuscitation training and design/ facilitate innovative simulation-based learning.
• Collaborate with nurse educators, clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify learning needs and deliver meaningful development opportunities.
• Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences across the hospital network.
• Travel to support local hospitals for resuscitation and simulation learning as needed.
