Job summary

Atticus Finch Holdings Limited is seeking two experienced and reliable Duty Managers to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, maintain service standards, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating restaurant operations, supervising staff, monitoring quality and customer service, managing stock, and handling cash and POS processes. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including staff supervision and service coordination.
• Ability to manage competing operational demands and resolve customer service issues.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and restaurant operating procedures.
• Strong communication, organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate operational records, monitor stock, and handle cash and POS transactions.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement in managing daily restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during the assigned shift, coordinating front-of-house and kitchen activities.
• Supervise, allocate, and coordinate staff duties with adequate coverage.
• Monitor staff performance, provide on-the-job guidance and training.
• Ensure food, hygiene, and customer service standards are met.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, respond to enquiries and complaints, resolve issues.
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures, shift handovers, cash, and POS operations.
• Monitor stock levels and report purchasing needs to management.
• Check deliveries and storage to maintain food safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, employment, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Maintain records on staff attendance, stock usage, cash reconciliation, complaints, incidents.
