Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation in Otago, NZ, is seeking a Cabolt Operator for our Macraes underground site. This is a residential role with a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, avoiding FIFO and offering a balanced life in the Otago region.

Responsibilities include drilling, installing and grouting ground support cables per plans, while maintaining safety and efficiency. Applicants must have 3+ years underground mining experience and a current Cabolter Ticket, plus a valid manual driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in underground mining.
• Current Cabolter Ticket held.
• Full and current driver licence with confidence driving manual vehicles over rough terrain.

Responsibilities

• Drill, install and grout ground support cables as per ground support plans.
• Meet safety and efficiency targets while operating equipment.
