Job summary

Medcall Health Personnel – Hamilton, North Island, is seeking compassionate Residential Support Workers to help people live independently and with dignity. You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living activities, and work with clients, families, and health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• NZQA Health & Wellbeing Level 2 qualification is required.
• Experience providing person-centred support is preferred.
• Ability to pass a Police Vetting check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in line with individual service plans.
• Assist with personal care, daily living activities, meals, and household tasks.
• Support clients to participate in the community and achieve personal goals.
• Build positive relationships with clients, family/whānau, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report changes in client wellbeing.
• Follow organisational policies, health and safety requirements, and the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights.
