Hōhepa Canterbury seeks a dedicated Support Worker to help three residents lead independent, meaningful lives in a supportive environment. You will be energetic, empathetic, and ready to create rich daily experiences, while setting caring boundaries and supporting personal growth.

Role involves reading situations, problem solving, and teamwork. Fixed rosters provide certainty of hours, with extensive on‑the‑job training and NZQF Health & Wellbeing certificate support.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a NZ full driver’s licence and be able to work in New Zealand.
• NZQF Certificate in Health and Wellbeing at level 2/3/4 is supported/encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and encourage independence.
• Assist with personal care, cooking, and medication administration.
• Support with household tasks and community access.
