Job summary

Korowai Manaaki is a Youth Justice residence in Wiri, Auckland. We are seeking a Dedicated Residential Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team and provide a wide range of administrative services that keep the residence running smoothly.

You will cover reception duties, payroll support, and other essential admin tasks, helping create a safe, supportive environment for rangatahi while supporting their education, therapy, and cultural programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or customer service.
• Confident using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Great communication skills — written and verbal.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent time management and planning skills.
• Collaborative team player with initiative and a sense of humour.
• Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to change.
• A clean, current full driver's licence.

Korowai Manaaki is one of five Youth Justice residences across Aotearoa, operating 24/7 to support rangatahi aged 13-19 who have been charged with or convicted of an offence. Our vision is to provide a culturally focused, therapeutic, and restorative environment where rangatahi can reconnect with their whānau, hapū, iwi, and culture — and build the skills to thrive. We focus on positive change through education, vocational training, and therapeutic and cultural programmes grounded in Te Ao Māori.
