Job summary

Te Maioha Youth Justice Residence in Rotorua is seeking a Residential Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide a wide range of administrative services—from reception duties to payroll support—to help run the residence smoothly and support rangatahi.

This permanent, full-time role offers a collaborative, supportive workplace with ongoing training, and the chance to contribute to positive outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi within a culturally focused environment.

About the Residence | E pa ana ki te Kāenga

Te Maioha is one of five Youth Justice residences across Aotearoa, operating 24/7 to support rangatahi aged 13-19 who have been charged with or convicted of an offence. Our vision is to provide a culturally focused, therapeutic, and restorative environment where rangatahi can reconnect with their whānau, hapū, iwi, and culture — and build the skills to thrive. We focus on positive change through education, vocational training, and therapeutic and cultural programmes grounded in Te Ao Māori.
