Job summary

Oceania Group is seeking a full-time, permanent Resident Services Manager for Redwood Village in Blenheim. This role leads resident services across activities, dining, housekeeping and front-of-house, building trusted relationships with residents and families.

You'll support the General Manager with occupancy initiatives, prospective enquiries and community connections, while ensuring a welcoming and well-organised environment for older residents and their loved ones.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care, community services, hospitality or retail with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to lead a customer-facing team and maintain high service standards.
• Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven communication skills and relationship-building with residents, families and colleagues.
• Full NZ driver licence and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Lead resident services across activities, dining, housekeeping and front-of-house.
• Build trusted relationships with residents and families; be a key day-to-day contact.
• Lead and support the team to deliver high standards of service and care.
• Assist General Manager with prospective resident enquiries, tours and occupancy initiatives.
• Develop activities and experiences to support wellbeing and participation.
• Coordinate resident surveys and drive improvements from feedback.
• Collaborate with kitchen team for hospitality-led dining; oversee housekeeping quality.
• Build community connections and support volunteer programmes.
• Keep resident services organised with attention to detail.
