Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Research Scientist with expertise in Pharmacology to join its drug discovery team in Queenstown. You will design and execute in vivo and in vitro pharmacology studies, evaluate pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, and contribute to preclinical programs aimed at advancing new medicines to patients.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or related life sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of postdoc or industry pharmacology experience.
• Experience designing in vivo studies and various dosing strategies.
• Proficient in cell-based and enzyme inhibition assays.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
• Excellent data analysis and scientific writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, perform, and interpret in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies.
