Job summary

Avis Budget Group at Christchurch Airport is seeking a Rental Sales Agent for an entry-level, part-time role (20 hours per week) across two Christchurch Airport-based vacancies.

You will greet customers, market products, and complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings. You may inspect vehicles for damages and assist with cleaning as needed. Full training is provided to help you reach your goals.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for someone with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at Christchurch Airport as what we call a Rental Sales Agent. This is an entry level position and could be the first step in your career! Permanent, part-time, 20-hours per week - 2 vacancies Christchurch Airport based Supportive, friendly, and caring culture

About the Role

From our customer counter you will greet and interact with customers, market products and services and complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings. To ensure our customers always get the best experience, you will also be required to inspect vehicles for damages and assist with the cleaning of our vehicles from time to time.

What we are looking for:

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role

• Shift 1: Wednesday - 16.30 - 23.30, Friday - 16.30 - 23.30, Saturday - 16.30 - 23.30
• Shift 2: Monday - 16.30 - 23.30, Tuesday - 16.30 - 23.30, Sunday - 16.30 - 23.30
